View an 11 minute video: "Is your Business Always Cash Poor?" using resources in the Tools for Business.

The links on the right side of this page are resources to prepare for and obtain a business loan.

The first group of resources, Getting Prepared, helps you understand what bankers are looking for.

The second group of resources, Funding Programs, are specific loan programs. Within that group are local programs, SBA loans, loans for minorities and women, and other specialty loans.

The third group of resources explains a bit about the collateral that is expected when you apply for a loan.

And finally, the last group of resources are if you are seeking equity investors, such as angel or venture capitalists.

Within each group, some of the links will take you directly to the program. In other cases, you are given a brief explanation and a link for more information.
